So just yesterday, i started getting this vibrating noises, i thought it was just a cord hitting a fan or something. So i checked it out, and the CPU fan was vibrating every time it made that noise. I have made a video of how annoying it is - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHHs17UFDZo

Anyway, I've had the Cooler Master Hyper T4 for about 4 months and it has never made this sound. Could've i put it in the wrong way? I tried twisting the screws in more, but nothing happened.

Is my cpu fan dead or what?

Cheers.

you fan is fried, un plug it and see if you can push it with your finger easily. if not then then baring is bad and it too late. if it still spinns ok "like free flowend" then plug it into a difrent plugin, like sys fan or so, i had a board that did that with to two high quality fans so much my desk vibrated , thought it was an old fan, swaped it out with a new on stuck it in the same "cpu plug" a day later started to happen again, turned out i caught it soon enoough this time and just pluged it in to sys fan and had no more problems since, my board must have fried a resister cause it was giving out 14 -15 volts and just running the fan at max speed caonstantly. other plugins didnt have that problem. has worked fine since and i just told my fan controlter to uses sys fan 1 as cpu all is good.
