So here's the full story
I was upgrading my PC and I bought a FX6300 used and a GA-990FXA-UD3 also used.
After building the PC I plugged in and checked everything and then started the PC. The first couple of times there was no post ( No signal, Nothing showing up) until i fiddled with gpu PCIE slots a bunch then it started up. The monitor was too slow for me to see the bios page so it just went past and it said preparing windows or something like that it was the actual windows who was saying it, it was the mobo. it got stuck there for a while so i just restarted the system and it booted up to windows perfectly. But I had to shut down because one of my CPU fans wasn't on ( I have a push pull config with my hyper 212 evo) so then after I put the fan back on i started the PC and it took a lot longer than it usually would with my old build. Then it appeared that the gpu drivers were for some reason uninstalled ( drivers were installed the first time it booted ) so then after installing the drivers and restating and everything it was fine but still took a bit longer than it should have. Then i started overclocking since it was the only reason i bought this CPU and mobo. Then i went into the bios and set the settings to default and then i ( as the idiot as i am) went straight up to 4.5 with everything set for a 4.5 overclock ( I checked a lot of forums and did a lot of research before doing it) .Then I saved and left the bios and it went to the preparing windows screen again and it was there for quite some time like the last time. So as i did last time I restarted the PC and ever since then i keep getting no post ( No signal ). I've tried most things and yes I've read the " Before posting No post threads thread" but nothing work. Also after opening Chrome and downloading a CPU temp monitor program my CPU was running at 25 and the preparing windows screen came every time but it was there for only a second or two.

Would be amazingly great if anyone could help me

My specs:

GPU: R9 290
CPU: FX-6300 ( old one was an i5 750)
MOBO: GA-990FXA-UD3 ( old one was ph755-m lx )
Cooler: hyper 212 evo
Ram: Hyper fury x GB one stick
Psu Cooler Master 700W PSU
Case: NZXT phantom 410

EDIT: I have already tried another GPU and fiddled with that too but it still nothing on the screen.

When I say no post I mean nothing comes up when I turn on the PC.
No signal no nothing but everything seems to work fine because the fans are spinning on everything.

You mentioned you set the overclock to 4.5 saved and exited the BIOS and from there you have been able to get to post. Have you reset the BIOS again? Also since you originally had a problem with the GPU and had to fiddle with it to get it to work have you tried the other slot beneath the main one or any other video card?

Since both of these items CPU\MOBO are used it's possible you bought defective parts.

I'm sorry there's a lot of information in your post so forgive me if you've already done what I suggested.

ok so you have nothing then you would have to reset the bios as far as I know there are three pins next too the battery with reset in tiny letters maybe but do not take this as gospel because I have never done it myself but you could read your online manual or if you still have one but do not take my word on this as I say I have never done this

Good idea. I'll definitely try that

which hardware revision is your motherboard made of?It´s written on the board at bottom left, near a srew.

how did you reset the BIOS? you can also unplug the power plug from the wall, wait until the green LED is off, remove the battery, wait 1minute and insert the battery back again, with the plus visible.

is the motherboard correctly installed with standoffs in the case and installed in the right positions?

did you plug in the ATX12V/EPS Power plug with 8Pins and not just 4Pins TOP left of the board?

which gpu is it? Does it need extra power from the power supply? all power connected? with adaptors or directly with PCIe 6Pin or 6+2Pin or 8Pin connectors from the PSU?

more suggestions:
just run a minimum config with motherboard, PSU, GPU in the upper PCIe16_1 slot, CPU+cooler (you did install the cooler correctly with the AM3+ adaptors and thermal paste?), RAM in the correct Slot (read the manual where it is recommended to be), keyboard, monitor

little question, not yet problem related, did you fresh install windows? To boot more quickly than the I5-750, a SSD will be necessary. By the way, I wouldn´t have done this "upgrade". You hardly will get a better performance out of it while gaming. If you do rendering and more professional stuff, it´s better, but not that of a performance upgrade, I would want if I would change my system. Is the RAM at least 1866MHz or more?
