Can I install a Micro ATX MB in an ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Hey everyone,

So I just started putting together my first build. I didn't realize I did it when I was ordering the parts, but I bought a Micro ATX MB and an ATX Mid Tower Computer Case. Will this be a problem? The motherboard itself is pretty small, and the graphics card just barely fits (it's basically touching the end of the ram slot). Because of this, the graphics card (Radeon R9 380) also blocks 2 of the sata ports, but there's 4 more open ones so I don't think that should be a problem either. I don't think I'll be installing anything additional on the motherboard besides a network card, but I still think everything should fit. Should I get a different motherboard, or will I be OK with this?

Ok great thanks for the answer. I also have a question about screwing in the motherboard. There are 6 slots on the motherboard that you can screw into, 5 of which line up with openings on my case. The case came with plenty of screws, but only 4 stand off screws. Which holes in the case do I put those standoff screws into? All 5 of those holes on the case say ATX / mATX, but some of them look different.

One is just a hole, 2 are raised screw looking objects (I put a standoff screw in the left one), and then the top 2 are 2 raised platform nubs. Not sure what the technical terms are for these. Sorry for the basic questions I just don't want to screw anything up.

So the only legit hole that my motherboard lines up with is on the left side of the first picture I posted. I only need to screw it in there, and not those 4 other spots the mobo lines up with?

I'll screw in the 5 spots where the mobo and case lineup then. But what I'm asking is about where the standoff screws go. What I gathered is I put a standoff screw in the one legit hole on the case, put the motherboard down, and then screw the motherboard into those 5 holes? The other 4 holes are somewhat raised already with the 2 nubs and 2 screw looking items.
