Make sure you have ACHI enabled in BIOS, and check if Intel has a management program for the SSDs. I know Samsung has one where you can optimise performance and enable RAPID mode, which boosts read speeds on the SSD while using up a small bit of RAM. I have only personally used Samsung SSDs, so I'd have to do more research to assist you further with an Intel SSD.

Thank you for your help - I did everything you posted and then some. I bought a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB and all my problems were solved. I loaded my OS and games onto it and have no more waiting/loading issues.
