So I am traveling from England to France, where I will be staying for 3 months. I really want to take my mid tower gaming pc but I don't really know how. At the moment I am planning on Taking apart the Graphics card, Ram, CPU cooler, and hard drive and placing them in their original packaging before placing them in my hand luggage.

I then plan on putting my Case in a suitcase with the Motherboard and CPU still inside and then covering it with bubble wrap and foam. That will be placed in the hold. How does that sound, the flight is only 1 hour 30 if that makes a difference.

Solution

That shouldn´t be necessary, as long as your board and cpu are seated firmly and cabinet isn´t prone to bending.
I would also let the psu, optical drive and chassis fans rest in the cabinet.

Mainly you want videocard, rams and storage drive and other pcie cards be packed seperately in antistatic bag and the cpu cooler in a different box..

Well idk how security woudl feel about you having all that stuff in your hand luggage, if you're going for 3 months, have them shipped there. It's only France so it won't take long, and you will have them for most of the holiday! You can ship it all as one in the case, or send the individual parts over themselves

There´s only 2 options really:

Option 1) Shipping service, with the provider bearing responsibility for damaged parts.

Option 2) disassemble it, and pack it like the manufactorer would. Your own suggestions are pretty sound. Antistatic bag for storage drive may be suggested.
