I'm upgrading my CPU (only between these two) and i'm wondering which CPU would be better for gaming and just overall performance?

I have an xfx R9 380, evga 600w power supply, 2tb hard drive,8gb ram. (current build)

Solution
Since you already have a dedicated GPU, It would not matter which one you choose. Since both of these APUs have igpu which would be under powered by the DGPI you already have. You better disable the igpu first. But even better, go for AMD Athlon X4 860K. The Athlon X4 860K is essentially the A10-7850K without an integrated R7 (8 CUs), allowing it to be a little over 40% cheaper, not to mention almost 30% cheaper than the A8-7650K, and every cent counts toward an entry-level graphics card.

I have the 6800 and actually enjoy it quite well. I can push mine up to 4.5 overclock stable with some after market cooling. Paired with an r9 270x play anything I desire on maxed settings. I originally bought it not realizing how awful the whole APU thing would be for running games dedicated is truly the only way to go lesson learned. Overall It's been a good chip in my primary rig had it about a year now.
