Hello there! This is my second time asking a question on this site and it has been pretty good so far. I am planning on upgrading my GeForce GTX 660 Ti (EVGA) to a GTX 970 but I do not know what all the different versions of it are (like EVGA, Zotac, Asus, MSI, Gigabyte). My current GPU is 9.5 inches long but I do have a little more room if needed. My pcu is 1000 Wats I believe (See pictures below). I am willing to go up to 400 dollars but prefer less. Here is the link to what I am looking at and am confused about: http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-970/buy-gpu

Thank you!

I'd get something along the lines of this.... there are better deals to be had but...
http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Quieter-Graphics-04G-P4-2974-KR/dp/B00NVODXR4

personally I like the non reference models for better overclocks on air. If you're at 1080p then the 970 is more than enough.

Generally I prefer EVGA, ASUS, and MSI. Although I have a Zotac AMP Omega Core 970 and it overclocks well past 1500mhz on the core so, you never know.

also you should overclock your cpu if its the 3770k; they are great overclockers.

Ohp, sorry. My cpu is an Intel Core i7-3770K @ 3.50 GHz. I have 16 Gb of RAM. I am playing the newer generation of games like Just Cause 3. I am looking for 50 fps or more on high settings. I was planing on buying from amazon but I don't know which one to get.

It's a nice upgrade, the only difference between companies is "features" but the end is the same thing, an exampe msi have that fan only will be spinning when they reach some temperatures making your video card quiet it. Other will bring a little higher speed or let you higher clock the gpu or the vram overcloaking, other will claim that the fan designed is for cooling, that have more fan, or teh heat pipes cover the vram and some other stuff, other just the look agressive or the color, as led light on the card.
The best is look what people suggest what brand have more positive reviews, also that have better warranty and less use of rma.
If you like some company that usually follows for your personal experience go for that one, better buy it on amazon, newegg, or similar store never from the official homepage of nvidia. On those places you can find discounts for a day.
