Hello! So here is my first try at a build. A little over my budget but thats okay. I want this PC to be able to run fallout, battlefront and all the new games with ease in 1080p and hopefully be handle newer games for a very long time. Any suggestions appreciated.

The only thing I was thinking of changing was the CPU. I could either go with the one in the list, upgrade to an I5-6600 3.5GHz or go with an I5-4690 3.5GHz. Would it make that much of a difference?
For the video card I was thinking either the one listed or an MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB
And finally for the motherboard...Will the one I have be okay? Or should I just splurge and buy an MSI Gaming M7?

The 6500 is a really good cpu, you don't need the 6600 and you don't need the 212 EVO with a Non-K CPU because you can't overclock them. The stock cooler is fine for that cpu. And you will want a higher quality power supply for a build like this. Other than that the build is perfect for 1080p gaming.

Do you think if i added EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 Video Card it would be overkill? I am willing to spend some extra money for the best video card if there is one

Why would you go with such a high end PSU? Wouldn't a 650w power supply work for this?

Absolutely not. The 980 is amazing at 1080p.
