I want to buy a device to connect to my tv so I watch tv through the internet. At the moment I use my gaming pc, which allows me to look at whatever i want through google chrome but it is becoming quite annoying as its loud and seems like overkill.

I want something thats smaller, quiet, but also allows me to watch website videos on an internet browser, rather than have to download a different app every time.
I have a roku 2, which is terrible as it depends on apps, and has very few apps in my area.

I was thinking about a Google Chromebox, Chromebit (though i hear this struggles with flash video) or a Android tv box. Any ideas which would be the best?

Ok, there lots of talk about roku boxes, even though i already explained that i have one, its terrible, and doesnt suit my needs.

Does anyone have any advice that isn't roku?
Anoyone have anything to say about chromebit, chromebox, or android tv?

Solution
if you have the dough get a nvidea shild
plus you can game on it.
roku is really one of the best (not the stick) if you set it up correctly say with plex & then a Netflix account.
a apple tv 99 $ aint bad
and then of course just getting a wifi conneted smart tv is the best way to go vizio has about everthing there is and is resonbley priced with wifi
and the samsund cost more do the same the vizios do + they can play playstaion3 game built in
I like the new chromcast and any type of tablet/phone with do no pc required, just need wifi. use phone as remote. I use my old Samsung tab8 I never take it with me anyway. and there are a TON of apps for you tab/phone to watch tv on in cluding plex and the cast only cost like35$ so most...
