I have a $750 budget which I'm already pushing. Probably can spend another 20-25 extra if need be. Not a completely gaming PC here but I need to know whether or not the MB in this setup is good enough. I'll be gaming a little, along with some editing and want a board that has a solid LAN internet capability.

Not looking to down/upgrade anything else so save yourself the trouble, really.
Everything on the list besides the PSU and MB are final.

Nope, the G2 model is made by SuperFlower, one of the best.

It's true that EVGA is a hit or miss brand. They put out some pretty bad units that used HEC, but their G2, GS, B2, and P2 lines are some of the most reliable you can get.

Review of the G2 550w on JohnnyGuru, recieved a perfect 10/10 (not many do): http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=440

Excerpt from Conclusion:

The Good:

excellent voltage stability
beyond excellent ripple control
fully modular
affordable
lots of included goodies

The Bad:

nothing

The Mediocre:

nothing

Admirable
PSU is a solid unit, though you're spending more than you need to on it. A good 550w is all you need. Here is one of the best 550w units on the market, and is still plenty to power the specs above:

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($69.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $69.99

The ASRock H97 Anniversary will suffice, though with the money saved from the PSU you could upgrade to the ASRock H97 PRO, which is a step up in terms of hardware support.

Motherboard: ASRock H97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($83.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Total: $83.99
