Mixing two sets of ram

I'd like to add some more ram to my computer, but my CPU cooler is blocking one of my slots. I'm thinking I could get a really low profile stick in there but it wouldn't match up with what I already have. Looking at other threads, it isn't recommended but that sometimes it doesn't matter

According to the specs, the timings are the same but the voltages aren't. The sticks I have are 1.5 and the others are 1.35 I was wondering if this would really affect anything or if it does, how could I go about fixing it?

I have G.Skill Ripjaw and the set I'm looking at are Crucial Ballistix Sport LP. My mobo is MSI H97 PC Mate. I appreciate any help on the subject thank you

What cooler, many tower coolers like the 212 EVO have adjustable fans where you can raise them. Else I'd look for a set of low profile DRAM in the full amount you want, there's no guarantees when trying to mix DRAM from different packages

It actually is the 212. I was just under the impression the fan needed to cover the entire block to cool properly lol
