Added more RAM, no display on boot

I just added some RAM to my PC. The mobo is an Asus Z-97A. I was using 2 4GB 1600mhz G.skill sticks, and added two more of the same. However when I sewed everything back up and attempted to boot, my display did not read any signal. I removed the sticks I had inserted, and everything booted fine. I restarted, went into Bios and disabled XMP thinking this might be causing an issue. Re-inserted the new RAM sticks to the same result - no display. I suspect I may be dealing with DOA RAM, but wanted to ask for a second opinion before jumping down Newegg's throat. If anyone can suggest a step I might have overlooked I would greatly appreciate it!

Solution
Might be the two sets just didn't want to play together, happens all the time - even with the same exact model - glad the other two play nice

Swapped out the G.skill sticks I just received for a pair my roommate had in his rig. Both sets worked, and now both PCs are working fine. I'm just going to assume I was stupid and didn't seat the RAM properly the first time (though I swear I checked it!). Sorry to waste anyone's time!
