I have a msi gtx 970 hooked up to a monitor and a lcd tv. The screens are duplicated. The tv is hooked up through the hdmi port. Every so often the tv screen flashes all pink. Sometimes after flashing pink it goes out completely and I have to turn it off and back on. The monitor never flashes pink and has no problems. WHAT'S GOING ON AND HOW DO I FIX IT? Is the TV going bad? Graphics card?

your hdmi cabel to your tv is bad. or your pc/Tv is being touched and causing it wiggle and cable is loose. switch cables see if it still happens.
-is you GFX internally screwed in?
-try another HDMI port on tv the ons on the side are sort of shoty
-try with just the tv and see if smirizo theory is correct but i believe regardless that all port are powered once pc is powered on
-are you using any kind of extension/ dvi to hdmi or something?
- have you checked you power settings on the pc and made sure one screen isn't meant to go out after no activity?
- still thnk the cable is bad....

your tv may be overheating.. worst case is it hanging on a wall?

My monitor sometimes went pink with pink lines across the screen & would flicker every now & then. I traced it to an over-tight cable connection at the kvm box. I just loosened the screws a tiny bit.
Now, i dont know if the problem was the tight connection or if the kvm box is flaky but i aint investigating any further whilst the going is good.
