Can someone please help me? I have a Cyber Power Desktop Computer. Everytime I turn my desktop on. Their a s small (but I can hear it from my chair) ticking/clicking noise. But only when I turn it on. After I logg into my computer after a few seconds the clicking/ticking noise will fade away and I will never hear it again. It never starts clicking again untill I turn my computer back on. I have a feeling it's somthing wrong with the fans. Or my hard drive booting up. If I tap the side window of my computer though, the clicking noise fades away a little bit. But eventually comes back untill I logg in. Someone please help ASAP.

Hi there Nick Hubs,
As there could be something wrong with your HDD, it may be a good idea to back up the data stored on the drive.
After that, you can open up the computer case and try to locate the area where the sound comes from. In case the cables(SATA and power) are long enough,
you can get the drive out of the case and boot up. Re seating and attaching the drive with different cables will not hurt as well.

Another thing that can be making these noises are your fans. Yet again, you need to open up the computer case in order to see if this is the case.

Thank you D_Know_WB. I have a feeling it's one of the fans, because when I go down near my tower, I can hear it coming from near the outer edge of my pc. What should I do if there I somthing interfering with the fan? Should I just open my tower up and move it? -Nick

Is you computer under warranty? In case it is not, you can open up the case(sometimes this could void warranty).
Yeah, just see if the fan makes the noise and whether there is something loose or if something(like wire) is touching it.
