Hi All,

I am looking to extend my PC life by upgrading my current RAM and Graphic Card to play games without experience lag in it (eg. Fallout 4 / Dragon Age 3).

My current PC build is as followed:

Mother Board: ASUS P7P55D-E
Processor: Intel i5 750 @ 2.67GHz
PSU: Andyson F600m
Ram: Kingston 2048mb x 2 (667MHz)
Graphic Card: ATI Radeon HD 5870

Can anyone suggest me a upgrade to my current Ram and Graphic Card? My budget is maybe within $250 - $300 but able to stretch a little more.

Solution
The GPU will work but its not what i would recommend. The GPU just meets the minimum requirements for fallout 4
The minimum GPU required is-
"NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent"
The 270x is slightly faster than the 7870.
So i personally think the GTX 960 is worth it.
[strike]And honestly having under 8gbs of ram is just something i cannot recommend. Atleast get 8gbs of ram.

EDIT- i didnt read your RAM suggestion properly. Yea. 2x4 should be good.

With your budget i can recommend these.

-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231489&cm_re=16GB_RAM-_-20-231-489-_-Product(16GB DDR3 @ 1600MHZ)
Even with this upgrade, you wont be running games at high settings. Fallout 4 will probably only run decently on med-high if even that. The biggest problem is your CPU. Its a bit old, and any thing higher than a GTX 960 will probably/be bottle-necked by your CPU.
Id personally wait till i had more money before i upgraded because you wont be getting the performance you want with that CPU.

Thanks for your suggestion. What I actually have in mind is

R9 270X for Graphic Card

2 x 4gb DDR 3 Ram @ 1333Mhz / 1600Mhz

How does this sound?
