Hi there I have a simple question and I want to learn about some facts before I buy a ssd product.
Because that I have a limited amount of budget the answer of this question is really important for me so that I will go and make the shopping or wait and try to find more money.
Question.
On my pc there are two HDD drives C and D.
C is 1 TB it has windows and other stuff in it.
D is 500 GB it has only steam and my games in it.
I also have a good psu,8 gb memory and decent graphics card.
I plan to buy a 500 GB ssd and replace my gaming storage with a really faster one.
BUT !
Because that its not going to be the primary storage (C is still an HDD) I dont know if I can use the fast reading and writing abilities of the SSD.
So my question is in this situation (windows on hdd and games on ssd) can I use all abilities of the ssd or the exsistence of the operating system on a mechanical storage still cause slow loadind times in games etc ?
?s games work by copying its tempory files from one disk to another (copying to temp on main drive where windows located) or are those files are directly copied on Ram and used by that way ?
Also is this SSD is good in terms of reading and wrting times ?

Thanks.
