Hey guys

so i'm building a system for a friend and this is the build I've come up with. What I want to be sure is are the ram & Samsung SSD stick going to work with the mobo and is the power supply a good choice? I've got recommendations for Seasonic in my previous build threads so I went with it.
It has to be modular so the build is going to have a clean wiring. He wont OC so i didn't go with the Z board and i7 K version. A stock cooler will suffice with the Fractal case I'm sure?

He'll occasionally play games like GTA5 and some shooters (1080P) (might go with the GTX960 though) and mostly edit and record audio.

You need DDR3 1600 memory for that motherboard and processor, not DDR4
Apart from that, very sensible

If you want slightly more performance and a bit more future proof, consider an i7 6700, a h170 motherboard and the DDR4 memory you selected

I hear more problems about Skylake than I do about Haswell...
When I build my son a new PC next summer, it will be Skylake, but right now Haswell still makes sense.

NB The stock cooler is OK on my rig, but if he works the i7 really hard, it might get a bit toasty on the stock cooler... maybe a Hyper 212 would be a good idea.
A 4790k, is 10% faster without any overclock. In the uk it only costs £20 more than the non k, so probably worth it.
That motherboard should run it, but read a review to check the power phases can take it.
For example, not all H81 boards are man enough http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/5949/9/intel-h81-chipset-motherboards-test-8-budget-motherboards-put-to-the-test-vrm-test

Ok, gonna go with this build probably. Might help him OC few 100Hz in future. About the rams though, are these gonna work with the mobo since I cant explicitly find them on the memory compatibility support page?
