now my problem here is not how do I fix this as I know how to do it now with the f8 key to restore it but rather that , when the hell am I gonna be able to install updates if this keeps happening (I've had this 3 times I've restored then updated again , the same message just keeps coming up and ps it's a new installation of windows too)

Download and run the System Update Readiness Tool for your particular Windows version:
