:( So, after 3 years, my ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 got "damaged" by a BIOS update which apparently was ONLY meant for Ivy-Bridge, I have an i5 2500k.

My multiplier is stuck at 37, any change to it, and it reverts to 37 automatically. Ram is 2133 and also stays at 1333 (only this and 1066 are options in BIOS), it is a real bummer, not getting ASRock anymore probably :/

I even downgraded to 1.2 Bios version I found online and it STILL REVERTS BACK to 37!!! The only thing I've yet to try is pulling out the battery, while at 1.2 version...not sure if this will do anything, what do you guys think?

The Tech support guy for ASRock told me that I could OC the RAM with CPU at stock, any idea how/what to look at? Thanks!

BTW, it is G. Skill ARES 2133 DDR3 ram.

[/quotemsg] I don't see the reason for overclocking the ram.. if your computer is really running THAT slow you would be better off upgrading the MOBO and ram to avoid any more problems[/quotemsg]

Its not that slow, its still @ 3.7 with auto turbo and 16 gigs of ram, but ram could be running faster, so why WOULDNT i OC it?
