How to increase RAM Frequency

I have 16GB of corsair vengeance pro and when I open bios menu it says it is running at 1333MHz when it is suppose to be 2400MHz. I have changed the Extreem memory profile (X.M.P) from disabled to profile 1 and it goes to 1600MHz but that is as high as it goes any help.

Try the other profiles, there's usually more than 1

What mobo and CPU? Not all mobos can even run 2400 and most CPUs need a bit of an OC to run 2400

Spec on that motherbd say 1333 or 1600. Looks like it has no ram overclocking at all.

Yep, 1600 is it, need to get a Z97 based mobo to run faster DRAM or effectively OC the CPU
