Hi guys, I'm going to purchase a new SSD for my desktop, and have come across the Samsung 850 EVO M.2 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147399). I plan on installing Windows 10 on it. Is this SSD considered AHCI, NVME or something else (I noticed 3-D Vertical)? Is there much difference in this compared to an alternate m.2 in a similar price range?
Thanks for the help!
EDIT: I feel like I should add my motherboard is a Z170 MSI Gaming M5, with an i5-6600k skylake processor. I read somewhere you cant always load an OS on an m.2 drive.
