Hi!
My current specs are as follows:
I7 3770k @ stock
Asus 7970
12gb ram
1tb 5400rpm hdd
256gb ssd
I've tried recording at 1080p 60fps and it works. So far dxtory has come the closest with the x264vfw codec. Stable at 60fps but kinda blurry. OBS was a letdown, framedrops in both/either game and/or recording depending on settings. I've been following guide after guide on the different software. I'm told I lack a good enough graphic card. I'm looking at geforce 970/980 or amd's 380/390.
My question is, what kind of rig would be needed to record good quality 1080p 60 fps and still have enough power to run the game itself @120 fps?
People say that the 980 and 390 lets them record 1080p60 and still run every game on ultra flawlessly which I assume is on a 60hz monitor. I guess it's gonna take a little more to record 1080p60 on ultra and still reach +120fps for my 120hz?
What kind of rig should I look for here?
Thanks,
Jon.
