Will this PC build work together?

Solution
Best I could do for providing quailty parts in every category ($450):

You could easily shave the price down by getting a cheaper PSU, but I strongly suggest saving a few more dollars for this build. The PSU is a quailty unit, the processor will be able to handle better games, as will the graphics card. For $30 more this is a massively better performing PC with more reliable parts.

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor ($89.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($51.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($34.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($49.98 @...

Yes, that should work together.

Aweful build, waste of money, but it should work. Motherboard fits the case. CPU is supported by the motherboard. RAM is supported by motherboard. GPU will fit. PSU is technically enough to power all of it.

The case is trash. The motherboard is cheap and unreliable. For a similar price I would go with FX-6300 + $50 reliable AM3+ mobo.

If he wants light gaming, then it will be better to get G3258+Cheap $40 mobo thus you will have enough money for a GTX 950 or GTX 750 Ti which are miles ahead of GT 740 in performance.

Awesome! This build is for a friend and the funny thing is, I have pretty much this exact build. Tried to get him to get this one and he wanted a "newer up to date one." Thanks very much mate!

Okay! Last thing I swear! I was wanting to purchase 1-2 more fans for my case and this is what the optional fan slots says... Optional fan space
- Top: 2 x 120 mm or 2 x 140 mm or 1 x 180 mm
- Bottom: 1 x 120 mm

Which fans do you suggest I buy?

Go for the top fans, they will provide the best cooling for the case.

I'd personally opt for the 2 x 140mm, but note that you'll probably have negative air pressure in your case after that. Negative pressure basically means great cooling, more dust, so keep an eye on the dust buildup in your case over time.

Do you have a certain brand you would say is best? Or could you like link me the fans you would purchase :)?

I personally like the Corsair AF series at the moment. Corsair and Noctua make some of the best case fans you can get.

Option 1 (I currently have these in one of my rigs and love them):Corsair Air Series AF140 Quiet Edition ($20)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181028

Option 2 (You won't get better cooling, but they are considerably louder): Noctua NF-A14 iPPC-3000 PWM ($27)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608048&cm_re=noctua_case_fan-_-35-608-048-_-Product

Either are great choices. Between the two I'd say the Corsair should work just fine, still a premium fan with great cooling performance.
