Hi folks, I've tried these ram memories in three different pc:
1.G41M Core2Duo E8500 v2.0 combo (just a long beep sounded and restarted)
2.DH55PJ Intel Intel Core i3 540, 3066 MHz (recognizes, but does not load the operating system is restarted or turned upside down memory)
3.p7h55m Intel Core i3 540, 3066 MHz (always restart. does not reach the operating system)

What can i do?
In theory should recognize this memories

Help me. Thanks

Solution

The RAM, G skill ripjawsX, is the high density type RAM, the old intel chipset MB will not take those, the MB will be at least H61 or up. You need return it, if you want g skill brand try the Ripjaws or the NS, for the H55. For the lga775 G41, may get other brand like crucial and use their memory...

Have you tested the memory to see that it is good?

Yes, I tested and work perfectly (on another motherboard). All the bios are update. What can I do?

I'm just checking through a list of questions to make sure I understand everything.

That is a 1333 Mhz, 2x 4Gb DDR3 memory set, right?

The Gigabyte G41M board supports both DDR2 and DDR3. did you install and configure it as DDR3?

According to Gigabyte's specifications DDR3 (white slots) 1333 speed can be achived only with Overclock. Probably the sticks are not programmed with JEDEC 400/533, to boot into BIOS at the higher speed. You must borrow at least one stick DDR3-800/1066, enter BIOS and set to DDR3-1333(O.C.) with Vdimm 1.5V.

Yes, is that set. I placed them in the DDR3 slots, I tried to put only one memory and did not work (on any three motherboard), I could not get another density (DDR3-800/1066), to do what you said. thanks, maybe that could be the solution

Yes, I returned the memories, today, and I'll buy a Kingston KVR1333D3N9/4GKC. 4GB 2Rx8 512M x 64-Bit PC3-10600. CL9 240-Pin DIMM. That works perfectly in these three motherboards. Thanks for your help, folks. Until next time
