I am looking to get some help overclocking my PC I would appreciate any info concerning which useful programs to use, things to look out for and possibly additional product suggestions such as cooling systems, fans, better PSUs etc.
Here is my build:
CPU: AMD FX 4100 Quad Core
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800)
MOTHERBOARD: ASRock 990FX EXTREME3
GPU: XFX AMD Radeon HD 7870 2Gb GDDR5
HDD: WD Black Desktop 1TB SATA 6.0 GB/s 7200 RPM 3.5-Inch
PSU: Cool Power Gamer CP-G980 980W
I am thinking of getting another video card the same as the current one to get some better graphics so am also wondering if it would be better to just get a new single card instead.
I would appreciate it if you could offer suggestions on overclocking this current build and possible upgrades.
I am not too savvy on voltage and such but I would be happy to read up on it if you can suggest some good sites or literature.
