I got a new graphics card its an Nvidia Geforce 740 GT SC GDDR5 2Gb
After I installed it the monitor says No Signal, but I get a signal with my on board monitor plug in also everything worked fine when I had my old GPU installed.

Also when i try to install the drivers from the CD that come with it it says Installer Cannot Continue The Graphics Driver Could Not Find Compatible Graphics Hardware Installer. I tried to install older drivers same thing, I tried to install the driver from nvidias website same thing,i downloaded and used Guru3D to wipe out any old drivers same thing

I update my bios that didn`t help either, the card is running I hear the fan, I did my research and made sure my PC could run this card before I bought it. The card won`t work unless the drivers are installed right? The card doesn`t show up in device manager either. I don`t know what to do. :/

A GPU does not need extra drivers to show signal to the monitor. Windows already have some basic drivers for it to show signal, otherwise you wouldn't be able to format your OS HDD. The drivers optimise many things for the GPU and especially game performance.

Does your monitor shows anything before the login to Windows? BIOS, POST, anything...

No it does not show aything

Silly question but I have to ask. Have you plugged in your monitor to your GPU ports (HDMI, DVI, VGA) ? When you have the onboard graphics, can you see the new GPU in System Properties?

You can also try this:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Scan.aspx
It automatically detects your GPU and download the proper drivers.

But in every case, your monitor should have shown signal. You might have a defective GPU.

EDIT: I just saw that you said in your first post about Device Manager. This also confirms more the defective GPU hypothesis. The last thing you can do before returning it, is trying it in a different PC if that is possible.
