What are some of the best games for a Mid-Level build?

My specs-

Intel Core i3 540 @ 3.06 gHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM
Nvidia GTX 960 2 GB Edition

Some preferences :

I like open world games. I enjoyed playing all of GTA series and the Saints Row series.
Similarly, I also liked the NFS, CoD and the Assassin's Creed Series.

Far cry 1,2,3 & maybe 4

Alien Isolation
Crysis 1&2

These are the ones I can think of that will certainly run on that sort of system.

Right, but there are some games, which won't even run on my dual core CPU :)

Try Witcher 1 and 2 and your build also could play Witcher 3 with 30 fps at low settings on 1080p I suppose. Witcher 3 at low settings still look very good. Don't look at specs only. What low settings and system requirements of one game is, is something different on other games.
