So i got a new graphics card from my friend last night! (AMD Radeon 6950 HD XFX)
Decided to plug it in.
I had a HIS graphics card from the AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series plugged in to a MICRO STAR MS 7599 motherboard.
Took the precautions to uninstall the drivers from the old one, and turned the system off.
Plugged in the new card and put the power back on and now im stuck with a no signal to the screen.
No BIOS, nothing.
I have no "standard" graphics on my motherboard so unplugging the graphic card and plugging the screen onto the motherboard and installing the drivers that way is no option.
What do i do?
I've been reading some about removing the CMOS for aprx 1 min then put it back in but i've no idea what CMOS is so i dont wanna go MacGyver mode and try doing anything stupid.
Thanks in advandce!
