Hello I want o buy a heatsink for my i7-4790K but I'm having a hard time choosing between these two: (I will be doing some light overclocking in the future.. 4.5GHz)

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus

or

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Which one is better? Thanks!

If you're in the U.S. get the CRYORIG H7, better cooling than either of the above, quieter, and slightly smaller. It's currently one of the best budget coolers on the market and a great pairing with the i7-4790k:

CPU Cooler: CRYORIG H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler ($34.50 @ Newegg)
Total: $34.50
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

If the H7 isn't available in your area I'd go with the 212 EVO.

Thanks for the reply! but it looks like the CRYORIG H7 has a max 49 CFM while the 212 EVO has 82.9 max CFM.. also the EVO has a 9 - 36 dBA over 20-25 dBA of the CRYORIG H7, the fan RPM are also higher.. the SIZE of the CRYORIG H7 is actually smaller..

Yes, the fan is quieter and doesn't have quite as high a CFM, but the overall cooling of the heatsink is superior.

The Cryorig H7 recieved the "Gold Award" from HiTechLegion. Full review here: http://www.hitechlegion.com/reviews/cooling/heatsinks/42980-cryorig-h7-universal-cpu-cooler-review?showall=&start=3

Tweaktown also compared the H7 to all leading CPU heatsinks here. It performed as well as several units that are almost twice its price point and recieved Tweaktown's 'Best Value Award': http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/6958/cryorig-h7-cpu-cooler-review/index6.html
