Amd card running physx

Just curious if i can run my r9 270x as a dedicated physx card. I currently am running 2 titan x's in sli with a 5960x. If i cant then what nvidia card would be a cheap solution

No, AMD cards can't run physx. There is really no card that has good dedicated physx value. The gains are never worth the price.

That being said, I am a big fan of dedicated physx cards. However, I only use/recommend them when you're upgrading because you should usually just use the card you're replacing.

I ran a 970 with a 660ti physx card and it worked well.

What games are you running where two Titan X in SLI can't handle the Phsyx duties on their own? I'm running two 970s and I don't think Phsyx has been a problem for me in any game I have played.

PhysX is Nvidia-specific, proprietary.
AMD cards don't have it.

I have AMD card now but I had Nvidia GTX 760 a year ago, I couldn't tell if PhysX did anything.
So I can't answer the 2nd part of your question.

no, that's an nVidia technology (nVidia actually bought the physX company)
Not sure which are would be best but with a setup like you've got I'd bet you wouldn't see 1 bit of difference in performance.

If you are dead set on buying a dedicated Physx card a 750Ti or 950 might be a good option. Like I said before, it's probably not necessary with two Titan X in SLI though.
