Ok so i am upgrading my system and i was advized to upgrade from

no the motherbard is the correct socket on the first upgrade i was just wondering is the mobo u suggested better

The motherboard that Blackbird suggested is of a higher quality. This will mean better temperatures and better reliability. However, depending on what speed your original memory runs at, the non-Z series boards cannot handle memory sticks with speeds higher than 1866. It will downgrade to 1866 if it is any higher than that.
