I'm going to build a PC for my friend but first I need to know if it works.

Case: Corsair Carbide 100R, ATX, Zwart, Window
RAM: Ballistix Sport 8GB(2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz CL9
Hard dirve: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
CPU cooling: Cooler Master Seidon 120V R2
Motherboard: Asus Z97-K
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 960, 2GB
PSU: Seasonic S12II 430W

Solution
Looks good, I'd consider a slightly more powerful PSU maybe 500-550W incase he would like to upgrade his GPU in the future to one with higher power requirements.
Newegg show the same price for the 430W and the 520W version of that PSU.

It certainly does.

I would however switch from the seagate HDD to a Western Digital Blue for several semi-negligible reasons. And for the same price as the Seidon you could have a Cryorig H7 which at load will perform better, and quieter. Installation of either are similarly easy.

Aside from that, nice build.
