Finally ready to upgrade....help?

Im ready to upgrade my GPU (GTX 750Ti) and without being bias, i cant decide between a GTX 970 or R9 390. Someone whos worked with either one or both of these cards, help?

The R9 390 is a very good card and, especially with current drivers, beats the 970 in nearly every metric except power usage. (I have an Asus Strix 390, fyi)

The 970 is a good card still, though, but in my opinion, you get more for your money from the 390.
