Just want to know if this video card will work with this mother board.
Motherboard - msi 760gm-p34

EVGA GeForce GT 740 4GB GDDR5 Dual DVI mHDMI Graphics Cards 04G-P4-3748-KR

Tried looking it up n my heads about to explode. It's for my sons lil gaming rig. Thanks for the help. Appreciate it

Yes, the msi 760gm-p34 has the required 1 PCI Express x16 slot and will fully support the GT 740.

The motherboard's x16 PCIe lane is 2.0, while the card uses PCIe 3.0, but PCIe is fully backwards compatible and you won't notice any performance loss by running the GT 740 on that motherboard.
