Windows 7 glitched out after fresh install

I installed a fresh copy windows 7 (64) after I got a new MoBo and CPU. After I installed everything, windows updates do not work, .NET frameworks wont download, chrome is automatically zoomed in on certain web pages and had weird white boxes everywhere, and the audio from my speakers is really distorted. Has this happened to anyone else? I installed my MoBo drivers, WLAN driver, and my soundcard driver, but m y GPU driver gets stuck on .NET frameworks download.

Try a manual download and install of the .NET framework.

I tried that also, and my PC is still acting really weird. When I go to uninstall programs, it says that frameworks 4 is actually there, but NVIDIA installer is still trying to download it. Also, chrome is still showing white boxes and giving me SSL errors

I might be tempted to repartition & reformat the hard drive and then repeat the install of windows. Then do all the Window's patches before installing any 3rd party software. If you still can't do a windows update immediately after the Win7 install, then I think you need to consider the possibility of hardware issues. Bad ram, bad video card, bad PSU, etc..

After Win install, start the Win updates before loading other software, otherwise Win can be try to say update the GPU drivers at the same time you are doing so manually,
