Hi, I just upgraded my PC to Windows 10, and now my Brother LC101 printer is showing as "offline". I've restarted both my PC and the printer, but it didn't correct the problem. Does anyone have any suggestion about how to fix it? Thanks!!

That model is supported on Windows 10 (32-bit & 64-bit) so try installing the appropriate drivers from Brother's website.

Note: existing Brother drivers must be uninstalled first.

You should also update the firmware for this printer. Latest firmware was released 12/10/2015.
It's available from the same page as above, under "What's New?".

Hi, thanks again for your help!

I was able to delete the printer from my control panel, but not able to delete the printer driver. When I tried to do so, I got the following error message:

The following package(s) can not be deleted:

brpri13a.inf (x64)
This package contains the following driver(s) that are in use:
Brother MFC-J870DW Printer; This driver is used on:
Brother MFC-J870DW Printer

The following driver(s) can not be deleted:

Driver Brother MFC-J870DW Printer (x64) is in use. It is used on:
Brother MFC-J870DW Printer

I had removed the printer from the device list, and didn't have any print jobs in queue. The printer is turned off, and I restarted the PC just to be sure.

If you have any suggestions about how to proceed, I'd appreciate them! I need to print something out soon and am stuck! :-(

Thanks again for your help!
