Hey, so I'm looking to build my first ever PC to game/stream with at maximum/high settings.

My budget is around $2000 - willing to go a bit over, but prefer to be as close to $2000 as possible.

Key Note: I'm pretty clueless when it comes to PC parts/building a PC. I've done research, but definitely need input on building one.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Edit:

Approximate Purchase Date: Within the next month or so.

Budget Range: Around $2000, the closer to $2000 the better for me.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming/Streaming are the most important part of the this PC build.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes, planning on it.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Anything that has good reviews.

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Chicago, IL.

Parts Preferences: I don't have much of preferences because I don't know much about PC builds. It seems Intel CPUs are a hot commodity, but other than that I'm open to anything.

Overclocking: Not planning on it.

SLI/Crossfire: If this is recommended, sure.

Additional Comments: Again, any help is greatly appreciated!

I would get something with an i7 CPU, a good GPU, a good SSD and a 750W psu. I will try to make you a build now.

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3400 Memory ($164.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($77.99 @ Amazon)

Appreciate the build, is there anything in there that you might recommend to optimize even more so for gaming/streaming? With your recommendation, I'd have $600 or so left over to maybe add or upgrade something.

I'm not saying its a must, just curious.

Well, lets look at it, from what I suggested:

The CPU is absolutely the BEST you can get nowadays. Its an i7 from Aug 2015.
You could get liquid refrigeration, but I think it's not needed.
You could get a better motherboard, but again I think you dont need to.
You could get 32GB of RAM instead of 16, but I think it's not needed.
You have a good storage already.
The GPU rocks.
The PSU rocks.
