I've been a gamer for awhile but just recently started to get into video editing and rendering, and even though the i5-4440 that I'm using now is good, I want something a little beefier, and we all know that means a new build, am I right?
I wanted to go with skylake but the 6700k just isn't worth the money right now. I'd rather go with haswell-e instead, slightly bigger powerhouse.
I want mATX for sure, and pretty dead set on the case. A friend of mine has it and it's wonderful.
The GPU is only temporary, I'll run 1/2 pascal cards when they come out, hence the larger PSU (and I like having a lot of head room) but the 970 fairs well for me. 1080p/1440p now and upgrading to 4k very soon.
