Hiding Windows Update After Uninstalling?

Hi there,

I am wondering if there is a way to hide a specific Windows update, after you've already uninstalled it.

There was a big problem I was having with one of the latest Windows updates (KB3102429) where it was not allowing me to export Crystal Reports to a PDF file.

I wanted to fix the problem as fast as possible, so I uninstalled the update and everything worked properly. Of course this is just a temporary fix as the update is bound to come back in a week or so. Is there any way for me to hide that update after I've uninstalled? All the researching I've done seems to talk about hiding an update only when it's active and waiting to be updated.

Please let me know if anyone has figured out a way to do this! Thank you!!

Yes, wait until you see it as a suggested update, then hide it.
I had the same issue with KB3035583 which is the update that puts the windows 10 update option on your taskbar.
Since uninstalling it and hiding it, I no longer see it.
Ditto for the Skype update.

This won't work for me.

As I said in the OP, the update I'm looking to hide has been uninstalled meaning it's NOT listed in the available updates list.

It is only listed in the update history list as it was downloaded/installed a few days prior to me removing the update.

My question is this: Do I need to wait until Windows prompts me to download that update again for me to hide it? Or is there a workaround where I can hide the update even if it's not currently installed on my computer.
