Hi i have a old video card which I have found in my house and when I plugged it in to try it the fan starts spinning but there is no video output through any of the ports (HDMI,DVI,DP) i just cant figure out why, does anyone have any solutions to get this working again.
I believe the graphics card is one of the two listed below:

it could just be dead. common issues if its not the card is the power supply not being strong enough(though that doesnt seem to need a plug from the power supply), improper installation(just try to reseat it) or the motherboard is having issues(try another pci-e slot).

if you can rule out the other possibilities, theres a good chance the card is just dead. last ditch, try it in another system to be sure. i recently had a similar issue with my old 5850. after my sister and i cleaned out the system, we breadboarded and it was fine, but after putting it back in the case it was just dead. would power up, spinning the fan, but refused to even give a post beep. even tried it in my own rig where i know my power supply can handle it and my own cards are working fine, but no dice. gunna make some art out of it somehow now, about all its worth.

Update the mobo bios too. How old is the motherboard you are trying it in? similar age or newer? If its older, an update might allow he card to wake up again. Was this your old card? Do you remember it working before?

Your two options then are to try a motherboard update for it, or check the card in another system. It could just be dead after all of that.
