After reading many threads on the forum, I am no wiser to whether or not I can reinstall windows on my PC
I have a new ssd, motherboard, video-card and cpu for a prebuilt system as its getting old. My windows 8 version came preinstalled but i have a key and a disk for windows. Will i be able to change my motherboard and then reinstall the windows system back onto the ssd or will i have to buy a new copy. I'm pretty sure its an oem copy but when i looked at the "ShowKeyPlus" results it gave me an error retrieving oem key but i got the original key and installed key, i presume the install key is when it changed from upgrading to windows 10. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
