Hey everyone,
I recently replaced the power jack cable on my Dell 11z 1121. I got the cable off ebay for 6-7 dollars.
Now my battery wont charge and the laptop battery indicator LED keeps alternating between orange and white.
Is there any way to bypass this dell feature which prevents you from using unauthorized parts.
I am using an original charger with the laptop, just that I think the DC jack does not have the metal contact for the charger pin which tells it to charge the battery.
