hello,

I took my mom's old laptop the Acer Aspire One D270 (AD270) and I upgraded it to windows 10 but I don't know anything about the graphics card in it so I don't know the name. I tried downloading a driver before but it made the computer crash when starting up so I reset windows 10

if someone can please help me get the graphics card working

I think you mean it's an Aspire One AOD270, as I can't see an AD270 listed on Acer's support site.

Windows 10 isn't supported on that model, hence the issue with the graphics driver.
Acer have only released Windows 7 drivers for that particular model (according to the drivers page on their website):
http://www.acer.co.uk/ac/en/GB/content/drivers

The idea is that you should check the manufacturer's website for drivers before changing the OS.

If that's the only missing driver on the laptop, it may be delivered via Windows Automatic Updates (provided the laptop is connected to the internet of course). When this will occur (and if) I don't know.

Thanks Phillip for answering,

I meant AOD270
I installed windows 10 on it already but the graphics is the only problem
the problem is it comes with windows 7 starter and win7 is really slow on this computer it lags so much
what do you recommend? going back to windows 7? do you know a fix for the lag
I upgraded to win 10 because it was really slow and on my pc windows 10 made it a lot faster
I upgraded with the iso from Microsoft website
