Need help with overclocking AMD Dual Core Athlon II x2 240 2.8GHz

Hello there,my specs are
Motherboard: biostar A770 E3
RAM: 4gb DDR 3 on 1333 GHz
GPU:Radeon R7 250
PSU:500 or 550W not completely sure
is it possible to make alteast 3.4Ghz w/o risk of malfunction or burning?Is AMD overdrive best way to overclock it?
Tnx in advance for any advise.

dont use overdrive unless you want the worst possible overclock. It is possible to attain 3.4ghz but I would only plan on 3ghz with a stock heatsink. Overclock using the bios and do not bump the voltage if you're using a stock heatsink.

tnx for answer,i think that gonna need abit more explanation because i realy dont know anything about BIOS.tnx in advance.
