Hi everyone. I'm planning on upgrading my PC soon and am stuck between 2 boards. The first being an ASUS H97M Plus and the second being an Asrock Z97M Pro4. They are both around the same price in my country and I don't know which I should get. The need for a Z97 is lost though as I will not OC. Any advice regarding this?

It's not just OCing that will determine Z or H boards. Honestly, for the same price, both from reputable manufacturers, I'd take the Z board.

Why?
Enhanced voltage protection (hence OCing), sometimes SLI capability (not in this case) & the capability to use higher speed RAM. Essentially all else is equal between the two, so the Z board would be the better purchase

Boards are identical but the H97 has m.2 support. You won't get far with overclocking on a 4 power phase design board (which they both are), unless it's a Pentium G3258, and even then there are workarounds for the H97 to overclock as well. Since overclocking is out of the equation and likely m.2 as well I'd just pick the one that best fits your color scheme.
