Hello i am planning to buy cooler master tx3. I have a stock fan for cooling and he is not doing her job. I have GA-B85M-D3H motherboard and I7 4770 CPU 3.4 LGA 1150 and case Cooler Master Silencio 650 Pure. Will it Fit ?

Thanks

It will fit, but the CPU will still get to 100°C if you run Prime95 28.5 Small FFTs. It just doesn't have the cooling power of a CM 212 Evo or the even better Cryorig H7.

You are wrong buddy :)

Anything tested with p95 28 small fft will show unrealistically high cpu temps. Among other instruction sets, 28.5 cranks up on the AVX instructions which normally see little of any use. P95 is a better test for cpu temps than most, as it applies an even load on the cpu, but, you should run p95 26.6, not 28.5. 26.6 uses a lot less AVX and results in much more realistic temps across full loads available from commercially available programs.

Not wonder you hit 100°. Run 26.6 and you'll more than likely see temps closer to 70ish.

Run Prime95 28.5 or newer Small FFTs and you'll see. My comments are based on the fact that I have that cooler on my i5-4590 and I can make it throttle. The 4770 should get warmer than the i5-4590. On the other hand it's a great and quiet cooler for an i3.

Sorry buddy for my bad conversation.

P95 28.5 or the older 26.6 that doesn't test all instructions and runs significantly cooler? If it's the latest version, then the stock cooler is excellent. On my i5-4590 Prime95 26.6 = 70°C, 28.5 = 90°C (my fan profile no longer is set to quiet, but the fan is noisy). Ambient is 22.5°C. If I were you I'd get the Cryorig H7 (if it's available in your country at a reasonable price).

I have a 26.6 version but this forum doesn't recommend 28.5 version why i don't know something about CPU.

I don't use it for gaming, but temperatures should match P95 26.6. If that's all you'll use it for (why an i7 for gaming only?), then the TX3 is fine; if you'll use software that can take advantage of the new instructions or a quiet system is important, then I suggest you get a better cooler. Bear in mind that your case is quiet and therefore not the best for cooling. The main reason to buy the TX3 is because it's easy to install, just like the stock cooler. You case allows for up to 162mm CPU coolers; you should seriously consider the 147mm Cryorig H7 that only costs $34.50 on Newegg.com. In the end it's your system and money.

I ordered Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo. I have a good airflow on my Case example my cpu reachs 84 degrees when i play Rainbow six siege why because during the gameplay my CPU usage reachs 100-90%. And yes i am buying this cooler because its easy to install. But unfortunately i ordered and i can't go back. I guess my CPU temperature will reach 70-65 degrees during the gameplay it will drop so 10 degrees maybe.
