Hey guys, I've got a decent PC, can run most games at decent FPS. (Obviously not as good as some of your PC's)
I would love to upgrade my PC so I can really get the full experience of new games and future games to come.

System Information Report

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home
System Type: 64 bit
Central Processor: AMD FX(tm)-6350 Six-Core Processor x6
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti
Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-MLX V2 (Don't ask... Cant even find it on the internet it's that bad..)
Power: Corsair 750W
Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 1TB HDD and 500GB HDD (Ordered Samsung 2.5-Inch 250 GB 850 EVO SSD)
Monitor: Two BenQ 60hz 21-inch monitors (Ordered Asus VG248QE 24-inch 144hz)
Case: GALAXY 3 BLACK PC CASE (Need to upgrade if possible, but not sure what one's fit)

FPS I currently get:
BF3: 70Fps+ On Ultra
BF4: 50Fps+ On Ultra
CSGO: 120 - 400 On max
Witcher 3: 50Fps on medium
GTA 5: 30 - 70FPS on high

I would love a PC that would get good and playable FPS on the new games that have been released such as Fallout 4 and future games to come!

I have a budget of roughly £500 - What would be my best bet to upgrade, also I'd love a new case, I currently have a old, broken case, any ideas of what cases may fit?

Notes: My processor is fine.. I don't see why I should spent double the money on an i7 when I beleive AMD is fine. If you wish to give feedback about the processor feel free to! I'd love feedback ASAP :)

I will see about the i7.. How much FPS are we assuming?
For example if I were to get the 980 and stay with the AMD, what FPS on lets say BF4 would I get compared to the i7? If you don't know don't worry about it..
If I am going to stick with the AMD, is it worth saving up for a 980ti?

Careful. There's really not a game on the market that requires more than an i5. The graphics performance of a CPU is irrelevant when paired with a discrete GPU. For gaming, i5 is pretty much the best option unless Hyperthreading is needed.

I see. The only reason I don't want to get rid of the AMD is that I recently just brought it, I also got a new CPU fan to cool it down ETC.. So if I were to go for an intel then I'd have to get a new motherboard (That I already plan) plus I'd be wasting the money I used on the AMD and the fan.

Alright, thanks for the help, I will probably get the i7. You sure I should get the 4790? Or should I get the 4790k or higher?
What about the mobo and case? How will I know it'll fit? :p
