Hi all, this is my first post on these forums even though I've been reading them for years -- you all do a great job!

I would like to buy a 2K monitor in the next few weeks but am worried that my GPU won't be able to handle the job with some gaming. I'm used to maxing out settings using my current 1920x1080 monitor and would like to know if my GPU could do the same with 2K. It'll be just a single monitor and I know that it can't handle 4K so I'm just shopping for 2K. Here's my equipment:

GPU: EVGA GTX 760 4GB (04G-P4-2766-KR)
CPU: Intel Core i5-4570
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600
MOBO: Asus Z87-PLUS
SSD: Intel 335 180GB
HDD: WD Black 1TB
PSU: Silverstone ST75F-G Evolution
Monitor (to be replaced): ViewSonic VX2439WM 23.6"

I've got my eye on this Acer monitor.

The most demanding games this computer will see are PVZ Garden Warfare and Cities: Skylines. If it can't handle it then it's back to the drawing boards for a regular 1920x1080 monitor.

Any help would be great! Thanks.
