Cant find a Bios update for windows 10 and the FX 6800-01e. Trying to install new 990x CPU

The only update on the website was from 2013 and doesnt work. It gives me an error. I am guessing it doesnt work because I have Windows 10.

Rather than update it through windows you will have to flash it in dos mode

Is the error to do with it being 32 bit bios update software not able to run in 64 bit windows

It doesn't say. It just says - error: Loading driver. I am considering doing a rollback to windows 8.1 to see if that will let me run it. I am not getting a good feeling that I will have much luck. Very frustrating that Gateway wont even speak to me.
