Nvidia 970 not being detected or outputting anything. Card was working until I started troubleshooting for a friend

Hello everyone! I really need help. I bought a 970 strix about a month ago and it has been working great. Until today. I went over to my friends house to help him trouble shoot his graphics card. I put his card in my computer, it didn't work so I told him his card was dead. I put my card back in and now it does not display anything. Plugging in to dvi gives no signal. I just wiped my drive and reinstalled windows and have tried almost every other troubleshoot I can think of. I'm honestly ready to pull my hair out. Any help or someone to talk to would be appreciated.

Have you checked in the bios to see if on board video is disabled?

Yes I have, I just got done trying that. I just got no display at all and had to use my cmos reset. The problem is the card is just not being detected at all. Nvidia's driver installers say it doesn't exist, gpuz says it doesn't exist, device manager can't find it.

I fixed it. I'm a dumbass. The female end of my pcie cord came undone on my modular power supply and the cord was hidden. I feel retarded lol
